Brova AS · Norway
A venue that comes to the audience.
Every tour works the same way: the show travels in crates, and a hall waits at the other end. Brova turns that around. The hall travels, and it arrives already standing.
The idea
A stage that never has to be built twice.
Brova 1 carries its own outdoor stage, twenty-five metres wide, five and a half metres above the waterline. The hull opens onto the quay and the audience stands on shore. Below deck there is a second stage and a hall for eight hundred and fifty.
Nothing is unloaded and nothing is assembled. The ship arrives, the side opens, and the city has a venue for one night.
Where it comes from
Norway has been shaping hulls for the North Sea for a thousand years.
The route
Five cities, one North Sea season.
The ship plays one evening, sails through the night, and opens the stage again the next. The distance between two evenings is the distance it can cover while the city sleeps.
The hull carries no name
Ninety-four metres of empty white.
The side of the ship is deliberately blank. For one night it can carry a festival, a label, a brand, a city — and the morning after it sails out clean. That empty white side is not a gap in the design. It is the offer.
Where it stands
Designed. Looking for the people who put it to sea.
Brova moves forward through partnerships. If you believe you can contribute — as an investor, as a producer, as a port, or as part of the team — we would like to hear from you.
